| Vocal & Instruments |
- Maximum time for instrument setup and tuning is 2 minutes for both Classical and Non-Classical categories. A maximum of 2 accompanists is allowed per participant.
- Participants must carefully select appropriate Raga and composition for their performance.
- All participants must bring their own musical instruments.
- Standard instruments such as Harmonium and Tabla will be available on stage.
- Only non-film songs are permitted in the Light Music category.
- Allowed Light Music forms include Geet and Ghazal only.

- Overall Presentation and Stage Impression

Group Performances:
- Minimum participants: 4
- Maximum participants: 12
- The age category of the group will be determined by the oldest participant.

| On-Stage Performance Mode |

Participants may complete the application process online through the official website:

- Candidates must select the "On-Stage Performance Mode" before applying for any specific subject or category.

Participants from outside West Bengal (Rest of India) who wish to avail free accommodation and food facilities provided by the organization must submit:
- Team Details
- KYC Documents of all members
- Refundable Security Deposit of ₹3,000/-
on or before 30th October 2026.
- Free lodging facilities will be provided for each participating team for a maximum of 05 days.
- Each team will be provided with a separate room along with Basket, Mug & Mattress free of cost.

Participants may bring their own bedding materials. Bedding can also be arranged through the organizers:
- ₹100 per head / per day for Purba Bardhaman
- ₹125 per head / per day for Kolkata
- Free lodging and food facilities on the day of performance will be provided to participants coming from outside West Bengal.
- All participating teams are requested to bring their institution’s banner measuring 6 ft × 3 ft for participation in the cultural rally.
- The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
- No objections or disputes regarding judgement will be entertained.
- Any legal dispute arising in connection with the competition shall be subject to Kolkata Jurisdiction only.
- The organizing committee reserves the right to accept or reject any application/entry at any time without assigning any reason.

| Virtual Mode |
- Candidates must select the "Virtual Mode" before applying for any specific subject or category.
- Participants must submit a freshly recorded video captured in landscape mode only.

The submitted video must be:
- Original and Unedited
- Clear and Properly Visible
- Videos containing Editing Effects, Background Banners, Visual Alterations or Overlays may lead to disqualification.

Fine Arts Category:
- The participant must record the first 30 seconds of the artwork creation process.
- The participant must record the last 30 seconds showing completion of the artwork.
- A clear JPEG or PDF copy of the final artwork/drawing sheet must also be uploaded during submission.
- The organizing committee reserves the right to reject any submission that does not comply with the prescribed guidelines.

- Every participant will receive a video recording of their stage performance.
- Top performers securing the highest marks in Dance, Vocal, Fine Arts and Recitation categories will be eligible for FREE participation in selected International Cultural Festivals organized in Thailand, Malaysia, Dubai, Singapore, Vietnam and Paris.
- Selected candidates of Bharat Sanskriti Utsab (BSU) will be awarded a 1-Year Cultural Scholarship based on performance evaluation and marks obtained in the competition.
- The final selection for international participation and scholarship opportunities will be made by the organizing committee based on merit and eligibility criteria.

| Prize Collection |
- Candidates must present their Admit Card at the time of prize collection from the dais.

The Admit Card must:
- Contain the participant's photograph.
- Bear the official "Allowed" stamp issued by the office.

If a representative collects the prize on behalf of a candidate:
- An authorization letter signed by the candidate must be submitted.
- The representative will not be permitted for on-stage prize collection.
- Prize collection can be done only after the entire session is concluded.
- Candidates unable to collect their prizes personally may avail the courier facility provided by the organization.
- Details regarding the courier process and charges (if applicable) will be shared at the time of result declaration.
