Bharat Sanskriti Utsab, an unit of Eklavya Global Social and Cultural Council, (Registration under Govt. of India), organised by ANTARA Sangit Vidyalaya & Hindusthan Art & Music Society, is an ISO 9001: 2015 certified Global Competition & Festival. It is also registered to MSME,(Govt. of India), Kolkata Municipal Corporation & certified by Central Vigilance Commission, (Govt. of India) & National Human Rights Commission of India, Govt. of India. Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre, (Minister of Culture), Indian Council of Cultural Relations (Dept. of Foreign Affairs, Govt. of India)Financially, it is supported by the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India. Bharat Sanskriti Utsab is a festival and a talent search program in the field of Indian art and culture, Indian classical music, and folk song. It was started in 2009, in Burdwan Town, West Bengal. The program is judged by eminent personalities from the field of art and music. The 12 days long carnival is a vibrant platform that provides an insight into the rich art and culture of India. The festival has gradually reached its zenith over the years and it is in 2021 that the festival is going to celebrate its 14th grand year. It is gradually gaining its importance in West Bengal and is soon going to be a very popular cultural program in the State attracting thousands of audiences every year. It is one of the most eagerly awaited festivals celebrated from the Third week of December at Burdwan, West Bengal & Fourth week at Kolkata every year. Since Last year, as the organization is hosting an online event, this year also the organization has taken the initiative to host online competitions & festivals.
Our organization is dedicated in promoting, preserving and presenting the Indian traditional art and culture through the following programs:
✓ 1. Support and nurture young talents from the fields of arts, crafts and museum through Awards and Fellowships
✓ 2. Host residency programs as a way of supporting and helping artists, writers, scholars and creative individuals to strengthen their practice.
✓ 3. To develop and nurture appreciation of Indian arts and crafts through the educational programs, cultural orientation program and outreach activities for children and young people
