Subjects : Vocal -Kheyal (Hindustani / Karnataki), Bhajan ,Folk Song, Rabindra Sangeet, Nazrul Geeti, Dance - Kathak, Kuchipudi, Bharatnattyam, Manipuri, Odissi, Sattriya, Mohiniyattam, Goudiya, Folk, Semi Classical, Modern, Rabindra Nritya, Instrumental (Flute, Keyboard, Harmonium, Violin, Sitar, Sarod, Santoor) Tabla,Dholak, Pakhowaj, Fine Art, Recitation.

Age Groups & Time Limit

Sub Junior (up to 10 years): 5mint. (Classical) 3mint (others) Junior (up to 16 years): 7mint. (Classical) 4mint (others) Senior (above 16years): 8 mint. (Classical) 5mint (others)

Registration Fees:

SOLO – Rs. 500/- (For West Bengal Candidates) Rs. 1200/- (Rest of India)
Duet – Rs. 750/- (For West Bengal Candidates) Rs. 1800/- (Rest of India)

Important Instructions:

Vocal & Instruments -Time for stage / Instruments setting is maximum 3minutes (classical) 2minutes (non classical) & Maximum number of accompanists is two. Sufficient thought and care must be exercised in the choice of Raga and composition. Participants must bring their own instruments. Normal harmonium & tabla are available on stage. Only non film songs / geet / gazal can be presented for light music. Judgement will be based on the qualities like taal, selection of raga, composition and general impression.

Classical & Non Classical Dance -Time for stage / Instruments setting is maximum 3minutes (classical) 2minutes (non classical).Maximum number of accompanists is three. Participants must bring their own instruments. The organizer will be providing only Normal Harmonium & Tabla on stage. The candidates can come along with their accompanists either the accompanists will be available here on payment basis. Cassette / CDs will allow for Dance items but preference will be given to the live music. Judgement will be based on the qualities like taal, Technique, Rhythm, Abhinay or Expression, Costumes, Footwork and general impression.

Fine Arts -Event will be conducted on the spot and participants will be requested to make a painting subject given by the in charge(s) of the competition. Time duration for the event is 1hours. Size of the painting will be half imperial size drawing paper i.e 6FIT X 3FIT

Important Instructions: The Organizer will be providing only Harmonium & tabla for Music items. Accompanists will be available here on remunerations basis. Cassette will allow for Dance items but preference will be given to the live music. Minimum Four & Maximum Twelve Dancers / Singers will be allowed on the stage for Group Dance /Song.
